I think you may be trying to do different things here. If you’re trying to use your printer to print e-mails out of Yahoo Mail then you’re going into the wrong setups if you’re getting Windows Mail options. To print e-mails from Yahoo Mail, open your email, select File from the menu bar at top, click on Print, select the printer from the options at the top of the window and select the Print button at the bottom. This will print your email. If there is more to the story of what you’re trying to do, list it or email me by clicking on my name here & select e-mail.

Best of luck.

UPDATE:

OK, now I see what you’re trying to do. I was trying to understand the problem from a printer standpoint instead of a scanner “Scan To” side of things. Unfortunately Yahoo Mail cannot be an option for a “Scan To” process. Only mail options like Windows Mail, Outlook, etc., are going to be available for that option since the “mail” must be an application that is locally loaded onto, resides on, and is directly accessible on the computer that the “Scan To” process can be directly associated to and control. Since Yahoo Mail cannot, and is not, local on the computer and does not have an application that the scanner can have direct access to, then it is not an available option. The best you can do would be to use software to scan the image/document into a file like a PDF that can then be attached to Yahoo Mail manually.

Hope that explains the problem well enough.

Best of luck.
