if you use Yahoo chat messenger, then yes, you can view yourself before others if you go invisible. But there is an privacy option where you must approve of who can view you. There should be a software that comes along with the webcam whether it’s separated from the desktop/laptop or it’s a part of your laptop. i posted a software that I use to view myself without using any chat messenger. Have fun!

you could just do it with out internet go to your “my pictures” then a lil thing will pop up on the left side saying “pictures from camera or scanner” click that and then a lil window will pop up and click next and ur cam will go on and u can see your self and take pictures on it too…thats wat i do to see how i look before gettting on cam

w/o clicking on any contact,click msgr on the top left,scroll down and click on my web cam,or web cam,a prompt windowopens and ask u to activate your web cam,click ok,and there is your cam on,enjoy.good luck.
