When you click Print, you should have a box open up with the specifications of that print job. Click on “Color” or “Properties” and choose to print in Grayscale.

Go to control panel – click on “Printers & Faxes” – right click on the default printer – select “Properties” – select “Colour”, then select “Print Greyscale”. This will then be the “default” setting, and to print in colour you will have to reverse the settings. To temporarily print a document in black and white, click on “File” – “Print” – “Properties” (or Preferences), select “Greyscale” – click OK (This setting will only aply to this specific document, and will not change default settings.
