If theres a nic card in your printer you can attach it to a router but you need to give it a static ip address, and connect it through a printer server box.

just go the the system properties and click on to allow the conncet remotely

Your printer definetely has an ethernet card, it has also an IP address (like your PC has), you said you know how to use ‘add printer wizard’;
So go there and in the first screen select the “Local printer attached to this computer..” option
, click next,
then select 2nd option and set it to “Standart TCP/IP port”, click next and type the IP address of your printer..the rest is very easy 2 next 1 finish…
