I have a Dell AIO 924, and for some reason my printer will not show up under “printers and faxes”. So what I do is reinstall the printer with my install disc, then it works as intended. Then a few hours later or when I restart my computer, all the stuff I did just disappears and I have to do it all again, it’s really frustrating.

Try doing a quick virus scan with Malwarebytes. You may have a virus
